Jabardasth Ramprasad Early Life and Struggles
Ramprasad was born on 3 May 1986 in Andhra Pradesh; most profiles name Visakhapatnam as his birthplace. Interested in films from a young age, he moved to Hyderabad to try his luck in the Telugu film industry and got a small role in Naga Chaitanya’s debut film Josh (2009).
Steady acting work did not follow. After struggling for some time, he returned to his hometown and ran a medical wholesale business to support himself. His break came when he joined ETV’s new comedy show Jabardasth, first as a writer, which brought him back to Hyderabad and to entertainment full time.
Jabardasth Ramprasad Career
Jabardasth and the Sudheer–Srinu team (2013–present)
Ramprasad joined Jabardasth, ETV’s weekly stand-up and skit comedy show, as a scriptwriter. His sharp punchlines and rhyming dialogues won attention, and he soon moved in front of the camera as a performer. He became the writing backbone and third member of the team led by Sudigali Sudheer, alongside Getup Srinu. From 2013 the team was one of the main acts on Extra Jabardasth, and their skits became some of the most-watched comedy clips on Telugu YouTube.
The team’s success came from a clear division of work. Ramprasad wrote most of the scripts and delivered quick counter-punches, Sudheer handled the lead comedy and banter, and Srinu brought his famous impersonations and makeovers. Many of Ramprasad’s one-liners, delivered in quick succession, became known as “auto punches,” which is how he got the nickname “Auto Ramprasad.” The friendship among the three has lasted more than a decade, both on and off screen.
Films (2009–present)
Alongside television, Ramprasad has played comic and supporting roles in Telugu films. After his debut in Josh (2009), he appeared in Nenu Local (2017) with Nani and starred with Sudheer and Srinu in 3 Monkeys (2020), a comedy built around the trio. He has since appeared in Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya (2020), Paagal (2021), Saakini Daakini (2022), Bedurulanka 2012 (2023), Nenu Student Sir (2023), Shashtipoorthi (2025), Pelli Kani Prasad (2025) and Vasudheva Sutham (2026).
Bigg Boss Telugu 10 (2026)
On 6 September 2026, Ramprasad entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10, hosted by Nagarjuna on Star Maa. He was one of the original contestants on launch night and one of the most recognisable faces in the house. Media reports describe him as among the highest-paid contestants of the season.
His journey has been mixed so far. He has faced nominations in several weeks, including Week 6, and reports in October said his vote share was dropping as viewers felt he was not active enough in tasks. Fellow Jabardasth comedian Naresh, also in the house, has drawn stronger audience support. As of mid-October 2026, Ramprasad remains in the competition.

Jabardasth Ramprasad Wife and Personal Life
Ramprasad is married and has children. Unlike many TV personalities, he rarely shares details about his family on social media or in interviews, and he has kept his wife’s and children’s names out of the public eye. He lives in Hyderabad.
His closest friendships are with his long-time teammates Sudigali Sudheer and Getup Srinu. The three often appear together at events and on each other’s shows.
Why the Sudheer–Srinu–Ramprasad Team Worked
Jabardasth launched many comedians, but few teams lasted as long or stayed as popular as Sudigali Sudheer’s. Their skits mixed everyday family situations, spoofs of films and playful teasing of the show’s judges and anchors, and they rarely relied on one joke for too long. Ramprasad’s scripts gave each member a clear role, so the comedy felt like a conversation among friends rather than a series of separate gags.
The trio’s chemistry also carried over to other ETV programmes and events, and their film 3 Monkeys was made around their popularity. For fans, Ramprasad’s presence in Bigg Boss Telugu 10 is a chance to see the man behind many of those famous lines speak for himself, without a script.
