Rana Daggubati is an Indian actor who was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on December 14, 1984(age 37 years). He made his acting debut with the 2010 Telugu psychological thriller film Leader. After that, he starred in several Telugu films such as Dum Maaro Dum (2011), Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017) and Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017). Daggubati also ventured into Hindi cinema with the 2016 action film Force 2.

He acted in many movies and achieved various awards. Rana Daggubati is coming from a celebrity family and started his movie career in 2005. He is the grandson of Tollywood movie producer B. He has got a younger brother Abhiram Daggubati and a sister Malavika Daggubati. Venkatesh is his paternal uncle and Naga Chaitanya is his cousin. He lives in Hyderabad with his family.

Rana Daggubati wanted to work in movie field from his childhood itself. He started his career as a producer in 2004 for the movie Bommalata. In 2010 he started his acting career through the movie Leader. The movie was successful commercially and he received Filmfare awards and CineMAA Award for best male debut award for his performance. Next year he acted in two movies Dum Maaro Dum and NenuNaaRakshasi. He got Zee Cine Award for best male debut for the movie Dum Maaro Dum.

In 2012 he did 3 movies NaaIshtam, Department, and Krishnam VandeJagadgurum. For his acting talent in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum he received SIIMA Award for best Actor (Critics). In 2013 he did a cameo appearance in Something Something, Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani and Arrambam.

In 2015 he joined two big budget movies Rudramadevi and Bahubali: The Beginning. Both were successful, and Rana Daggubati received SIIMA Award for best villain.
