Early Life and Education
Dua was born on 22 August 1995 in London to Kosovo Albanian parents from Pristina. Her father, Dukagjin Lipa, was the lead singer and guitarist of the Kosovar rock band Oda, and her mother is Anesa Lipa. Her name means “love” in Albanian.
