He made his acting debut in 2002 with the film Student No. 1, which was produced by his father and directed by S. S. Rajamouli.
NTR made his acting debut at the age of eight in the Telugu film “Brahmarshi Vishwamitra” (1991), which was produced by his grandfather. His first lead role was in the 2003 Telugu film “Student No. 1“.
